Nisha Thirkell and Amber Butchart, aka The Broken Hearts are a Dj and performance duo like no other. Taking inspiration from showgirls, burlesque, circus slideshows and the golden age of Hollywood cinema, they use every performance as an excuse for dressing up. This shouldn't prove to be an impossible task; after all they both have jobs in London's mecca for all things vintage, Beyond Retro, and have an extensive collection of identical costumes solely created for their shows. Their quirky style not only caught my eye but also the fashionable eyes of i-D, Nylon and Artrocker magazines, as well as features on their fabulous style in Vogue.
